Focusing on the most iconic and acclaimed designs of Alexander McQueen's prolific career, this is a fully illustrated examination of his inimitable technical virtuosity and its subversion of traditional tailoring and dressmaking practices. This is a stunning overview of the work of McQueen, and accompanies a major exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY (4th May- 31st July) I never conformed to any sort of fashion ideal.
