Iebel Abel about Episodes: "I wrote Episodes on invitation of pianist Samuel Joyce, who was fascinated by random events. I believe randomness is a fundamental creative property of nature. There are many things in the behaviour of living creatures that are familiar to me. I think we are one of the same kind. We don't act random, we simply adapt in a world that is too overwhelming to comprehend. It seems random, but it is not. The world we observe is alive, complex and beautiful." EPISODES
