The cyber revolution and the perils it brings with it in terms of the use of virtual weapons by state and non-state actors is explored and interrogated to address how a system of defence, fair play or at least understanding of this new kind of threat can be achieved, considering such examples as the Olympic Games operation against Iran and the Sony cyber-attack.
