This study relocates Richard Hooker’s ‘Anglican’ theology by a close comparative reading of his theological method alongside that of the ‘catholic’ Thomas Aquinas and the ‘reformed’ Jean Calvin, showing how Hooker and Anglicanism can properly be characterised as both catholic and reformed.
