Based on the Bible's Prodigal Son, Francis and His Shell follows a little hermit crab as he leaves his home and shell behind to find something bigger and better. He travels to many iconic places on the Big Island of Hawaii to realise there is no place like home. This compels him to finally return to his family and little shell by the beach.
