A History of the Percy Tenantry Volunteers 1798-1814
Omschrijving
In 1798, with the fear of a French invasion, the Percy Tenantry Volunteers were one of many volunteer corps preparing to defend our shores. Raised by the 2nd Duke of Northumberland, his force consisted of cavalry, riflemen and artillery. Shows how such a corps was organised and how they were fashioned into an elite and innovative fighting force.
