Juliette Dubois is a single 30-year-old B Magazine restaurant critic who shared the love of food with her French mother, Esmée Dubois-but that's about all they shared. After making the decision to take a leave of absence from work and stay in Paris in the hopes she learns more about her past, Juliette meets Pierre, who helps her traverse the present.
