This volume contains 69 papers published between 1866 and 1872 by the prolific Victorian mathematician Arthur Cayley. A key figure in the creation of modern algebra, Cayley became Sadleirian Professor of Pure Mathematics at Cambridge in 1863, and president of the British Association for the Advancement of Science in 1883.
