A rogue comet has blasted through the asteroid belt, sending hundreds of chunks of space rock on a collision course with Earth.
A special protection agency has been formed to intercept and harvest them for their resources before they enter the atmosphere.
But after an encounter with an unseen menace, a new threat to the Earth is revealed. Two men from the agency, a pilot and his gunner, are selected for an impossible mission.
Will they succeed and prevent the ultimate disaster?
