Suicide has been on the rise, and many trained clinical professionals aren't sure how to treat people who are suicidal. We just can't be afraid of suicide, it is preventable most of the time. The more we educate ourselves about suicide, the less fearful we will be. As we become more comfortable talking about suicide we'll become less reluctant to talk to the person who is suicidal.
