Once a child learns that letter H huffs and huffs because he hikes a hill, Huh-uh-huh, he can hardly ever forget that letter H says, Huh! A child can learn that letter A is afraid, Aaaah! Or that letter U gets upset, Uhhh! The McClure Method makes learning to read so simple. See it! Say it! Remember it! Wow! By the 2nd semester of preschool, my son knew every letter's sound! By the end of the year, he had read over 453 books! At the beginning of first grade, he was tested using the McCall's system to determine his reading/spelling level.
