Khar-mohr the donkey, is chosen by Joseph to carry Mary to Bethlehem. Since there's no room in any inn, Mary gives birth to Jesus in a stable. Khar-mohr is there to witness the event, as well as the arrival of the shepherds and three kings, and is awestruck by the appearance of the star of Bethlehem.
