During pregnancy, as a mom and baby experience their own transformation, A Dad is Born: A Week-by-Week Guide Preparing Your Heart, Mind, & Soul for Fatherhood, invites soon-to-be-fathers to explore a spiritual conversion of the heart. Each week presents dad with an opportunity to reflect on scripture, a short meditation, and directed prayers related to the growth of their child in mom's womb. Topics also focus on the soon-to-be dad's vocation, their own mother and father figures, their relationship with God and with the larger world. At the conclusion of each week, dad is invited to write a short "love note" to capture their thoughts and prayers up until their child is born.
