The principles upon which the Tables of Paradigms have been constructed, are the following: I. To avoid needless repetition; II. To give the forms just as they appear upon the Greek page, that is, without abbreviation and without hyphens; III. To represent the language according to its actual use, and not according to the theories or fancies of the Alexandrine and Byzantine grammarians; IV. To distinguish between regular and irregular usage.
