Merritt Shepherd, an investigator with the Ministry of Environmental Resources committed to changing environmental policy, is undercover at Farmexal in the middle of a potentially catastrophic situation and directly in Evie's sights. Evie and Merritt have radically different ideas on preventing environmental disaster, and neither is looking for love.
