Author Chandni Bhatia wrote My First Hindi Book and My Hindi Book of Opposites to introduce Hindi words to her daughter as well as other young children in Hindi-English bilingual households. She believes short and frequent reinforcement and repetition of the language offers Indian children living abroad the ability to really learn the language thus offering them a genuine connection to their culture.
