Philosophy of a Zebra is based upon academic writing made by the author while attending philosophy classes. The information is based on the idea of how family plays such a big part of our development. The embedded story is based on these concepts and on the journey between life and death. Finally, the grandfather, who opens Jessie's eyes to a world of understanding and acceptance beyond his own. The pathway to healing the soul comes from the appreciation and understanding of all things. Only to realize during the journey, that we knew nothing in the first place.
