Yet, proper formation for this consecration has often been inadequate and fragmented. In Formation for Consecrated Virginity, Joyce Stolberg endeavors to bring together various sources: doctrinal, catechetical, spiritual, moral, psychological, and practical, to comprise a challenging and well-rounded initial phase of formation for those who experience a call to this sacred way of life.
