In Glass, we discover how glass is made from a mixture of sand and limestone. We find out how these
chemicals are heated to a high temperature until they are molten. Then they are shaped, moulded and
coloured to make the fantastic material we use to make windows, glasses for drinking, spectacles and
bottles.
