This is the true story (possibly) of Albert a vegetarian adder's misadventures to regain a stolen tortoise shell, and his insane friends, a gambler, a drunk, a thug and a mystic, not to mention the farting frog who are no help to him at all. With, of course, the obligatory villain thrown in. Ideal fayre for young teenagers.
