Kaleb is settling into his life without Alice, spending his days working at his oldest brother's coffee shop and nights taking courses at a community college. Sure, Red Queen Inc. is still up to its old tricks, this time releasing WonderLand on an entire city, but Kaleb is out no matter how many times Markus asks him to come back. Alice wakes up behind a walled-up Salt City. The WonderLand virus is running rampant, and she is being hunted. If that wasn't bad enough, she has no memory of how she got there or what's happened in the last six months. Kaleb sent her on a crazy scavenger hunt to find him, telling her to trust no one.
