"One Day at a Time" is a photojournal by Mei Shen (trail name "Click") about her adventures on the Appalachian Trail on the East Coast of the United States. Her journey started from late March of 2019 and ended in mid-September of the same year. Throughout her 168 days of trail time, she went through harsh snow, torrential rain, and pleasant sun. She experienced the legendary hospitality of the thru-hiking community, walked through the living history of the free spirits of the United States; and affirmed her belief in humanity, documented by stories, poems, and thousands of photos, with over 730 included in this print.
