We are experiencing the fourth industrial revolution, a time of significant change and innovation. Independent studies have their limitations, and multidisciplinary convergence that transcends the boundaries of academic disciplines is indispensable.
This Special Issue on "Biotechnology and Sports Engineering" aims to share the latest research trends and explore future directions for development. In particular, biotechnology and sports engineering are intimately connected; together, they may significantly improve the quality of human life. Knowledge building is not just a matter of linearly adding to previous information, but making more synergistic and complementary choices. Knowledge must be exchanged continuously between disciplines to advance of human health and wellbeing.
