»Public Policy in International Marriage Law«: The special public policy clause of Article 13 (3) of the Introductory Act to the German Civil Code (EGBGB), which leads to the mandatory annulment or invalidity of child marriages, has caused some turmoil in the context of conflict of laws. Deriving from this, the study examines the admissibility and necessity of typified ordre public violations in international marriage law on basis of a comparative law study.
