»The Jurisdiction of the Freiburg Special Court from 1940-1945«: This work is dedicated to the question of what happened before the Freiburg Special Court as a National Socialist criminal court. It comprehensively analyses all the surviving judgements of the Court. In addition, the extensive archive holdings made it possible to analyse the biographies of the special judges and to conduct a sociographical study of those sentenced by them. In summary, the author concludes that the Freiburg Special Court was a tool of National Socialist politics.
