There are many advantages that the Project Management Consultancies provide, both to the client and the contractors. The sole aim of a Project Management consultant is to complete the project within the stipulated cost and time and of the desired quality. The research that has been undertaken for this dissertation has highlighted topics such as the role of the project management consultant, evaluating the coordination between the client and the consultant, for the improved project outcome. The study has given knowledge about working methodologies of the project management consultants. This gives the clients an insight into the exact working of project management consultancy: In a broader sense, it can be stated that the clients with this study can judge the various aspects of procuring the services of a PMC which really leads to the improved project outcome.
