It is well known that Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) & Magnetic nanocomposites (MNCs) are used widely in medical, electronics and environmental applications. The extensive commercial application and synthesis of MNPs raises concerns about their impact on the environment. To overcome the drawbacks of homogeneous catalysts such as the prerequisites and handling of sensitive metal-ligand complexes, deactivation or poisoning of the catalyst during reaction and difficulty in recovering and recycling expensive reagents, heterogeneous catalyst have been developed and used. As the synthesis of the MNPs & MNCs is usually the subject of material science, however, their application in remediation of pollution is an advanced and innovative techniques. The main scope of this book based on the catalytic activity of some magnetic nanocatalyst which used to decolorize organic azo compounds from the wastewater.
