In order to showcase her work, there is an examination of the marginalization that comes with each identity through the lens of Marcus Garvey, Monique Wittig, and Karl Marx. This shows the unique position of the Poor Black Woman and why we cannot be liberated until she is. So what does it truly mean to be Black? To be Woman? To be a Worker? and to be all three?
