After Part I has described how the young Carlo, a student at the Catholic University of Leuven, is drawn into the world of alcohol and women that characterises the life of the student club Mother Geelse by the exuberant "Big Bad Wolf", his best friend and clubmate, Staf Van der Auwera, reveals another side of daily life in Leuven and the Kempen while offering a more nuanced picture of Carlo's evolution and depth thanks to his acquaintance and conversations with Carlo's mother. At the same time, however, Carlo stands between them like a wall for a long time.
