Aureool, the pseudonym of Lianne Quak, is an English teacher, translator, and editor. She is also a creative writer and a former participant in a writing group. After being dismissed as an English teacher, she seizes the opportunity to reconnect. Destin, cast out by the Samburu tribe, grew up with Imani in Maralal, where her father had worked.
