In the streets, I was in a free world, but a prisoner of my mind. In prison, the physical restrainer, I became a depersonalized number--- J31179---yet I learned true freedom. The streets encourage being a hostage to drugs, alcohol, infidelity, money, the past, and all crazy circumstances follow such a path. Life was chaotic, in the deadliest form, as the Chaos was silent, hidden, external, internal, and eternal. Learning true freedom is a condition of the Spirit and the soul, no matter location.
