I Spark Like Lightning tells the story of Jen, an 8-year-old with epilepsy. Jen explains, in her own words, what it’s like to live with seizures—the lightning storms that sometimes spark through her brain. With the help of her family, friends, and her service dog, Hamilton, Jen manages her epilepsy and learns to appreciate the lightning as part of who she is.
