The Bible gives us guidelines as to how to navigate the road of life. True happiness comes only from God. We are most miserable when we stray from His teachings. These devotionals share true life experiences. Studying the Bible is always beneficial, but understanding and applying its teachings is most important to our wellbeing and that of others. We are to take action based on God's love, for God is love. If we concentrate on Jesus, not only do we get our minds off our own problems, but we become givers instead of takers, Christ's true disciples.
