Little Rose West was a girl from Syracuse, New York, in 1983. Little Rose overcame so many traumas. She was raped, beaten, shot, and even hit by a car, but she still chose to see the beauty of life. She knew that just because horrible things happen--and boy, she endured everything imaginable--she knew that didn't decide who you were or even where you would end up someday. She never focused on the horrible experiences she may have had to overcome, but instead, she just kept dreaming. And boy, dreams do come true.
