In July 2008, Mike had an emergency brain surgery to remove a tumor at Johns Hopkins Hospital. His fight back and renewed appreciation for family, relationships, and life power a unique insight to what yesterday, today, and tomorrow present to the astute observer looking out and within.
To say that Mike has a new lease on life would be an understatement. He has much to share, exploring a unique genre of writing pieces to match photos. A "poetograph" is a photo that corresponds with a writing piece. A Poeto is writing that links with a photograph. The author has chosen some poems to include an accompanying photo. Which came first is left to the imagination of the reader.
