It is designed to be an easily accessible reference book and thorough introduction to those mushrooms which are approved for wild harvested sales in Alabama. Featuring over 500 high quality photographs, this book clearly illustrates which features are important for identification and how to confidently differentiate them from look-alikes. Mushrooms are organized by shape to ease the learning process, however sections also contain taxonomic, seasonal, and other descriptions to provide a deep understanding of their features as well as where and when to find them.
