Detective Aronson and his partner have built their reputation as two of the brightest detectives in the Tri-Cities. Their ability to solve anything that comes across their desk is known throughout most of the country. A strange scene at the edge of the forest crosses their paths with a man who is unable to remember the events of the night before, and the detectives find themselves spiraling into a much darker case.
When they discover a man flayed and pinned to a tree they are forced to determine if they are dealing with a new cult or something far more sinister.
